Please read this before sharing my work
First of all, thank you for your interest in my work! I’m thrilled to share with you my illustrations, which are the result of my passion for art and creativity 🙂
Here are the guidelines for sharing and reposting my work:
1. I’m a registered artist
It’s important to remind you that I am registered under the “artist-author” regime in France.
This means that, as an artist, I follow specific rules and regulations set by the French government, and that all my illustrations are protected by French copyright law.
I hold exclusive rights to my works, including the right to reproduce, distribute, and modify them, in accordance with French intellectual property law.
2. What about the visuals on social media?
I do believe in the free exchange of ideas, and the opportunity for everyone to benefit from these visuals. That’s why if you’d like to share my illustrations, you can do so, provided you adhere to the following conditions :
FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY
You are not allowed to share my visuals for promotional or commercial intent.
Do not use my content if you include:
A call to action
This can go from “follow my account for more” or “check the link in bio” to “buy my product/service”
A sponsored link
Or affiliate link, or any kind of promotional message, for any brand.
For any other use, you can check my licencing page.
NO MODIFICATION
You are not allowed to modify or transform my illustrations in any way without my permission
Transformation & modification include:
Changes in the visual
You can not change any text, colors, or any other elements of the illustration.
Cropping/Removing signature
You can not change the format of the visual and are not allowed to remove my signature (obviously, you are NOT allowed to add your own signature or logo).
Translations
If you need to share my illustrations in another language, feel free to reach out to me 🙂
WITH ATTRIBUTION
You have to credit me and provide a link to my account.
How to credit properly:
Always credit
“Image by @visualsbymelodie” in the main caption.
Clearly credit me, don’t just tag me.
If it’s a thread, please add the credit in the first tweet.
Provide link
Make sure to always link back to my instagram page (@visualsbymelodie) or website www.visualsbymelodie.com
Do not copy and paste
Write your own caption and hashtags

By sharing my illustrations under this license, I aim to encourage creativity, idea sharing, and collaboration while protecting my rights as an artist.
In general, if you use my work to promote your products or services, or if you benefit from using my visuals in any way, I have the right to be compensated for it. It’s just a matter of fairness, as my work contributes to your success.
